We were designed to grow in relationships

Have you noticed how relationships can cause some of our deepest pain?  This is because we were created to connect, designed to bring each other joy and peace.  Relational skills are quickly disappearing in our fast-paced, high tech, disconnected society, and the body of Christ has the opportunity to be at the forefront of restoring these skills.  Learning to walk in awareness of God’s presence, and how to stay relationally connected  even in times of distress is a gift we can offer if we will intentionally engage with God and each other to grow these skills.

Relational Joy Brings Transformation!

Learning to give and receive this “glad to be with you” relational joy is like WD-40 for the brain; neuroscience tells us that our brains work best in joy.  Knowing this adds special meaning to Ps. 16:11, “You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore.” Long before modern science discovered it, God told us that the path of life is relational joy – with Him and with people!
